Great App!

First rate app. The ability to export to almost every platform is great. On my wish list though is the ability to play a power song using my Pebble Watch and export to xID

Great, but with some bugs

I appreciate the numerous unique features packed into this app. However, in-app audio cues do not seem to be working in the latest versions.

Poor visibility

The AW app is difficult to read outside. The color of the font for data (blue) gets washed out in sunlight. I haven’t been able to get the HR functionality to work. I’ve given up on trying to use the AW app.

Excellent exercise companion and data logger

I rarely pay for an exercise app since so many are free but I wanted to add heart rate to my workouts and came across iSmoothRun in my research for a good solution. Combining it with the SMS Audio BioSport In-Ear Headphones with Heart Monitor should work great, and this app is the only one that supports them. I used this app today for the first time and am thrilled with the results. It helped me achieve my fastest pace so far this year and added a little fun motivation with all the audible feedback settings, excellent live display and data logging and after run save and export capabilities. Cant wait to play with it some more and add heart rate monitoring after I get the Biosports (available now for about $30 on eBay and Amazon, down from an original price of $150 since theyre discontinued).

Horrid support, does not work with Biosport (though it says it does)

Purchased a SMS Audio Biosport headphone and ismoothrun was the only app stated to work with it. Could not get it to work (lack of clear instruction) and SMS audio did not respond to my email enquiry. Since there is not trial version of this app, you must buy it to see if it works. (it even says so on the website) As mentioned I could not get it to work, but there were other negatives: 1. Seems like it has no treadmill support 2. No iPad version (for treadmill use) The only thing the app would do is cause the volume to pulsate. Would like my money back. I did contact ismoothrun and 8 days later this was their reply verbatim: "Sorry for the late answer. The app should have permission to use the microphone and the above procedure should work."

Great running app

This is a great app. It does everything you need it to do and is highly customizable. It also integrates with a ton of other fitness sites (like Strava). It also works with a ton of devices including the Magellan echo which is also highly customizable. A job well done and definitely a cut above the rest of the apps out there.

now I love it!

Finally got the HR to work after some help from the ismoothrun support. The trick that worked for me was to start the run from the watch and not from the app. You do also have to make sure the use the watch HR button doesnt keep resetting itself. Now this app has it all.

Flexible, always works, great support

This is the most flexible running app I’ve used. I followed the Hansen Half-Marathon program, and it was easy to punch in all of the different workouts, and easy to help with my pacing with the metronome feature. I still output my runs to mapMyRun and SmashRun for the community, but I only run with this app. I had an issue where the output to mapMyRun stopped working. Using the link in the app, I reported the problem, and received an email back from the developer within a day. As an app developer, I truly appreciate that level of support, and understand how difficult it is to maintain.

Run TO this App!

Smooth, sleek, quick interface, syncs with most major other apps. Theres nothing not to like. Worth every penny.

Great app

Ive tried Runkeeper and Runmeter but this is the best. Very useful, well updated, and you control your data.

Go to fitness app!

This has been my preferred fitness app for the last year. I used it with my pebble and more with the Apple watch. Calories estimated at a little high but I love the custom work out settings. Great for creating your HIIT sessions or just mixing it up. If you dont have a chest heart rate monitor you can use the some watch to do it.

Best app of its kind

4/5 b/c nothing is perfect. That said, 0 complaints from me. I started using iSR when my Magellan Echo still worked (Ill buy another one of those, I loved it paired with this app) and it provided endless info configuration abilities. Now without the watch I still use iSR as my primary tracker b/c its a great interface, is smart and allows me freedom with my GPX files. Strava does not, but import to Strava is the next step after each run. I like using it for my log, but not tracker. Export/setup from iSR is easy once setup and integrated into saving the run. iSR Pro is well worth the cost.

Everything You Want in a Running App

For a one time purchase this app does more than the others do with subscriptions. Stats galore, shoe tracking, HR with Watch, mapping and it can export to Run Keeper for the social aspect.

Best running app Ive found

ismoothrun is the best running app Ive found to date and have been using it the last 6 months. I just got back into running and this app has everything new and experienced runners need. Allows you to upload all of your runs to Nike+, Strava, MapMyRun, etc. It also gives you statistics like cadence, which is important if you want to run injury free. There is a built in metronome too, that can easily help you increase your cadence to desired rate (180 steps per minutes). Cool tracking features for individual runs. Just wish you could scroll through the workouts instead of having to exit to workout log.
