Pros and cons of iSmoothRun app for iPhone and iPad

iSmoothRun app good for

Having tried all the major running apps, I can say with certainty that nothing comes close to the level of iSmoothRun. Its not just how it strives to be compatible with most sensors, or how you can create custom workouts that can be as specific as you want. Its how you can tell that this app is made for running, and nothing else. This single-minded approach results in an app that does eveything that a runner would ever need, without any superfluous features that other apps try to entice you with. If you are serious about running, get this app.
Ive been using this app for several years and nothing else even comes close to the features that it has. More features than the best Garmin Forerunner watches. Its easy to use, tracks all of my workouts, can upload data to many sites (Strava, Garmin Connect, etc...). Pairs with BT Smart devices (HRMs, Footpods). Well worth the price!
Any function you may need and you can export the data to a lot of sites of your choice... Thanks a lot.. Really useful!!
This is the most complete running App for IOS/Apple Watch... same training resources as an expensive running watch, detailed statistics and large integration with other Apps.
Excellent feature set, almost as if the programmer is reading my mind.
Editing Intervall training is much better than with Runtastic. Feature request: Being able to adjust distance in long distance races according to way marks.

Some bad moments

Love your app but missing 1) Native AW2 app with GPS support 2) separate workout type for Strength training were just heart rate is recorded

I remeber when apps were 99 cents. I think thats what I paid for the Nike app. I quite using the Nike app as it required sharing of information. Thats why I bought iSmoothRun. But it seems that dispite the extra money they want, for potentially nefarious reasons, access to auto updates (independance from the user) and access to to the Apple fitness app. Further I have found its distance tracking incredibly inaccurate. Nike was at least very accurate. I will drop my use of iSmoothRun. If you value privacy or accuracy I would not recommend this app.
After the last updated, no HR in the apple watch app. Please fix this.
As soon as the lightest cloud appears in the sky, this app freaks out. It goes back and forth between gps and non gps mode, and all the distance and speed measurements are getting wrong.
Just bought this and tried to use it for the first time. It tracked nothing on my run and said GPS was unavailable. My 5k app tracked the run just fine though. I bought this because I want to track my elevation gains. Ill keep trying and raise the stars if I can get it to function properly.
