Cannot authorize MapMyRun

I love the app and I am a long-time user, but with the latest update I can no longer authorize MapMyRun. The update indicates there was a fix for posting workouts to MapMyRun but the authorize capability seems to be broken.

Perfect addition to your fitness kit

This app continues to serve me well even with the option to use Garmins connect. Having the ability to interconnect all of the popular logging sites is a big bonus

Best of the bunch

This app just keeps on improving with great developer support. This is THE app to use when running/biking, and upload later to your favorite social fitness site. Thank you for adding great Pebble support for intervals and alerts. iPhone 6 Plus + Pebble + iSR rocks. I don’t think I have any more reasons to keep my Garmin watch. --- Thank you for pushing the iPhone 6 update out so quickly, and adding Health Kit integration. --- This is the best running tracking app. Lots of behind the scene intelligence. Works with Viiiiva, Pebble, and is always at the forefront of sensor adoption. Syncs to a bunch of sites like Fitbit, Garmin, RunKeeper, and Strava. Keep your accounts on those services but use this app to collect your data. --- Awesome work on integrating more features to pebble 2.0!

Best running app available

Feature packed, easy to use. Works great, very reliable.

Great compatibility with devices and services, but UI is lacking

I bought this app because of compatibility with the Pebble smart watch. I wanted to be able to relay my heart rate info from my Bluetooth HRM to my pebble and this was the only app that allowed me to do that. It allows you to customize all the metrics that you can push to your watch so thats great to have. Pros: compatible with a wide range of devices, including the pebble. Allows customization of fields pushed to pebble. Allows you to export to practically every 3rd party app out there. Cons: not yet compatible with the Pebble Time Round, although that is supposed to be on its way. UI is at times confusing and buggy.

Best running and cycling tracking app!!

Great fitness tracking app and really nice to be able to use one app to upload my fitness data to multiple sites! I use it daily for running and cycling and export to Strava, RunKeeper, and MyFitnessPal. Fantastic app!

Great app!

I love this app. Ive used it to track my runs in 5 different countries, with and without 3G, and it works remarkably well. Great design and functionality.

Best running app in the store

This is a great app that is compatible with almost every service and every device you might want to connect it to. Fully customizable displays on the Apple Watch and overall great design and reliable performance. Plus a helpful responsive developer. What more could you want?

Love it

I use ismoothrun every time I run. The flexibility of the intervals is great and being able to publish to multiple sites is awesome.

Awesome...

Best app I have. Plays well with other apps, easy to use and understand. I can honestly say this app has improved my times through the coaching and metronome. I can control what data I want and when I want it. I recommend it to anyone who uses their phone to monitor their runs.

iSmoothrun great independent fitness trainner/tracker app

Update 2 I have been using ismoothrun for 2 year and even after buying a Garmin running watch I continue to use it. The developer has been regularly updating it and the technical support has been good. This is a great app for those who dont want to pay to manage their training data as you can upload your activities most of the payed for and free sights. Its great. Feature packed. Tracks, encourages, all with the freedom to store your data locally or on any if the popular sites. I use the inbuilt metronome to remind me to keep my cadence up.

New update Fixes Garmin Connect!

Thanks for the new update, which once again allows sharing rides to Garmin Connect. I appreciate your great customer service.

My favorite

Ive tried a half dozen running app and this is the best. I use it everyday.

Not that great for Apple Watch

I bought this as I was looking for an app that would give me more functionality that the workout function on the Apple Watch. It is a great app but you dont get heart rate with the Apple Watch which I guess is because Apple doesnt share HR but I wish ismoothrun would have noted this on the specs page as that was the main thing I wanted. Now I have to decide if I want to buy a Bluetooth smart heart rate monitor to use this app. I probably would have just stayed with run keeper or map my run which are free. I also tried contacting ismoothrun and have not received any kind of reply after a couple of days.

Perfect

It does perfectly what it said

Best of design, features, and stability

I use ISR over other fitness apps because of its interval planner. It is so easy to plan out your workout to the last minute. ISRs GPS tracking is also better than any other app Ive tried. When on my bike, other apps have a snap to road tendency that makes my bike rides a bit wonky looking. Finally, ISR just works better with all the Bluetooth sensors and external displays (like the Wahoo RFLKT and Magellan Echo) that I use. Other apps have difficulty connecting and dropped connections that I dont find with ISR. These days almost any app can track your run/bike/hike workout, but ISR gives you fine tuned control and rock solid stability that will keep you coming back to this app.

Best running app

Ive used this, runkeeper, mapmyrun, and others - I always come back to this one. Simple, quick start, always reliable GPS, and it has never crashed and lost a workout (all the others have). Plus this app writes your runs directly to the other apps, just the same as if you had used those apps to track the run (so they count for challenges and all the data is accessible). Use this app.

Best running app

Have used this for a long time. Best app out there. Apple Watch app works great also.

If you like stats, this app is for you

NOTE: Some other reviews have incorrectly stated that this app does not read HR from the Apple Watch. For some reason, they chose to turn this off by default. To enable it, go to Settings>Displays>Apple Watch and turn on Enable Watch HRM. Ive used pretty much every running app out there, and I keep coming back to ISR. This is the only app Ive used that doesnt add way too much mileage to my runs. With smart tracking turned on average the distance is within 1-2% of my Garmin GPS watch. Otherwise it (and every other app) measures a mile every .91 miles. Its not perfect, there are a few minor annoyances. Id like the option to double the cadence reading for running as opposed to cycling. Also, it could be prettier, but thats subjective. As a bonus, it syncs with pretty much every other app out there.

Best there is

Having used every running app out there, I can still say that this one is the best. Its one of the first things I install when I get a new phone.
